Michael Coyne Workshop

Attended a one day workshop with renowned photojournalist Michael Coyne on the Sunday of the Queens Birthday long weekend. Was an inspiring day and Michael is an excellent orator, able to get his message across simply and  succinctly. Emphasis was on "street photography" skills and here are a few of my efforts during the day.

Remember Patience, Move In, Fill the Frame and be Polite.

Thanks very much to Jancy & Jesse from CameraPro for hosting the day

and also to Her Gracious Majesty, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, and Defender of the Faith;  for the day off.

House Painting

Cant understand why, when I enjoy colour and texture, that when it comes to painting the inside of a house I stick to white, white and white. Oh well here's some colour and texture that will offset my current malaise.

I love the street art I see when waking the streets of Melbourne. I know some will think this 'tagging' is not art but it is in a way as it is someone expressing themselves in a visual sense, just not on a canvas.
