Tasmania 2014

Sorry for the lack of posts but busy time over Christmas and just a little bit slack.
Well once again we returned to Tasmania for a holiday with the purpose of a family wedding. The first of the nieces and nephews to marry, must be getting old. Whilst there I was able to get in 5 games of golf (thankyou Virgin for the extra baggage) including both courses at Barnbougle; Dunes and Lost Farm. These courses are truly spectacular and though challenging, a pleasure to play and wonderful experience. I also thew in the fly rod and was able to get in 3 Flyfishing attempts. I use the word attempt as though I thoroughly enjoy it I am damn useless, but I like to use the excuse that its NOT about catching anything, its to enjoy the location and experience.
Once again the weather was SPECTACULAR and the months of February and March really are the best time to visit this beautiful Island. Maybe a little too much food and wine but who cares as it was with wonderful friends and that's what counts more than anything. Flower photos, you say? cant help it I really like the colours, textures and sometimes almost perfect symmetry.
Till next time, enjoy these few photos from the trip and if you haven't been to Tasmania yet, now you know what your missing.
